jaw harp case thing
huge thanks to my mom who has been doing quilting for years :)
its made of a set of two pieces, one a lill longer than length of the foam brick i have, the other long enough to fold over the top of the case.

the "x"ed out pieces are covered in a bating. stuff used for pot holders and such.
the non"x"ed out pieces are the lining pieces.
as a side note. remeber to sew stuff together inside out. i sewed the whole thing right side out before i realized my mistake. had to seam rip the whole thing apart.
stiched the flat ends of the pieces of matching color together in this pic.
put the bated pieces (one long one short) at their ends (with the corners removed) and sewed up it up into a pocket.
now we have this lill poket. this forms the outside of the case when its fliped inside out.
stiched up the sides of the black pieces till it met the top of the poket from the previous pic.
stiched around the lining pieces. the orange and the black lining. left a hole to pull the whole thing inside out.
before we flip it we need to stitch up these squared out corners. these give the whole case depth.
flipping it inside out, we have this thing with three socks.
stitch up the hole we used to pull the whole thing instide out.
using a ruller we take the linging tube and shuv it inside the bated tube of the same size.
then heres some final pics showing how the harp fits inside.
cut the sides off of the foam brick so that it would fit better inside of the case. it was too tight.
